TraXion is a free, points-based forecasting platform. TraXion Points are virtual and have no monetary or cash-redemption value.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to jointrax.com, the TraXion application, and related communications. “TraXion,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator of the TraXion service.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Name, email address, username, password hash, profile biography, avatar, and account preferences.
- Predictions, virtual-point transactions, achievements, comments, reports, follows, referrals, and other activity within the service.
- Messages and information you send when contacting support.
- Email addresses submitted to the early-access list or by a user initiating a referral invitation.
Information collected automatically
- IP address, browser, device, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, timestamps, and session activity.
- Approximate country, region, and city derived from an IP address. We do not request precise device location for analytics.
- Email delivery information, including delivery, bounce, complaint, suppression, and engagement events when available.
3. How we use information
- Provide, secure, personalize, and improve TraXion.
- Create accounts, verify email addresses, reset passwords, and deliver requested account communications.
- Operate forecasting markets, virtual-point balances, rankings, seasons, challenges, referrals, and discussions.
- Prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, spam, and violations of our Terms.
- Measure service performance and understand aggregated usage.
- Comply with law and protect users, TraXion, and others.
4. How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with hosting, database, analytics, security, and email-delivery providers that process it for us; when required by law; to protect rights and safety; or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets. Public profile details, forecasting activity, rankings, and comments may be visible to other users according to your settings.
5. Cookies and analytics
TraXion uses essential session cookies to keep users signed in and protect account activity. We also use privacy-conscious first-party analytics to understand visits, sources, device categories, approximate geography, and application usage. Browser settings may allow you to restrict cookies, but essential features may stop working.
6. Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain legitimate business and security records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
7. Your choices
You may update profile and notification settings in your account. You may unsubscribe from launch and other optional promotional messages through the link in those emails or at jointrax.com/unsubscribe. Essential account, security, verification, and service messages may still be sent while your account remains active. To request access, correction, or deletion, contact support@jointrax.com.
8. Age requirement
TraXion is intended for adults age 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, please contact us.
9. Changes
We may update this policy as TraXion develops. We will post the updated date and provide additional notice when appropriate.
